Sunday, December 11, 2005whoa. power-packed week. haha that was what i used to describe orchard just now. power-packed. yum. alright the weeks have been busy. prep for cic. this is gonna be a mega event. like what uncle siew leong says best, it's not about us it's all about Him. yup. toodle. i've sourish legs now. walked quite a bit today. checked out the prizes to buy. went to yeo gm, ck, heeren, cine and taka. the last three were to check out buffet places for cell outing on tues. decided on seoul garden. i bought a lego man today. quite cute so yeah. today was just crappified man. cos walked with james all the way so yeah nth much to expect except that la. oh well.
pastor john shared a story today cos he preached on the verses before the camp's theme verse. "a little girl came home from sunday schoo one day and asked her mummy, is God very big? her mum replied yes God is very big and explained to her on how big God is. then the girl asked, well my sunday school teacher said that God lives in my heart too. and the mum replied yes God does live in your heart and goes on explaining. to which the girl asked, well, if God is very big, and he lives in my heart, then wont he show through? personally i thought that was thought-provoking. how many of us actually let God show thru in our lives? are we hiding that treasure within us? do we really mean it when we say it's all about Him? another story. christmas is coming, everyone knows. a boy asked his father one day on what christmas is all about. his father replied, christmas is a time where we share the birth of Jesus. and upon hearing, the boy asked, why is it that only during christmas that we share the birth of Jesus? another thought-provoking one. it really makes sense, doesnt it?
Christ gave us eternal life so that we can touch lives eternally. cos it's all about Him.
