Thursday, November 30, 2006i've been out everyday this week.
sat went down to church early to prepare for the carnival. bre and i became pros in setting up tables. haha. we were trying to exploit the 'boss' in charging more money for each table that we set up. spent like 9 bucks on sausages cos they were really good. went for dinner with the folks after the carnival then to 4e3 class gathering. ms soh brought her kids down. her daughter's so cute la. looks super jap. ethan eden nathan. cool.
sun the sermon was alright i guess. just a bit profound. haha daryl and i ended up talking abt other stuff. had dinner at bre's place and the planning for the year end chalet began. the whole process was hilarious. but overall, the whole plan sounds really good. (john, are you reading this? sounds good!)
mon spent the day at sentosa. kayaked around with cheryl, john and joshua. we were trying to ditch joey and miah when we found out that they are really heavy. we felt like there was an anchor pulling our kayak.we laughed so much that we just floated on the water. called the guys over and we hung onto their kayak as they paddled. we felt like we have been out in the water for quite a long time but decided to make our money's worth and wait till the guy calls for us. lazed around in the kayak while trying to scoop water out. john and i started using my slippers to scoop the water out. desperate measures. haha.
tues went to coach's house at some ulu place and slacked while waiting for the rest to arrive with the food. we were so bored that we watched mickey mouse on cable. haha. made friends with his kids. the first round of food looked like oreo cos the two sides of the fishball were black and the centre was white. so funny la. it was a crazy night.
wed i managed to buy what i needed and more within one and a half hour. haha not bad. far east's a good place to shop. cheng brought a packet of milo that she koped from ltc to training. a packet of 3-in-1 milo to be shared with 9 people. well done. in the end, she drank it all. haha.
